As part of Scott Kelby's World Wide Photo Walk, I led the Galway section of the walk. With 25 people signed up, I figured we may end up with less due to the rather dismal weather. It started raining as we waited for the last few stragglers to show up. We managed 15 or so, not bad considering how wet it was.Our route took us down Shop Street, through the market, down by the Cladagh and around by the docks, finally ending at Bar No. 8. I forewent the 5DII in my bag and shot with my Canon G9 compact instead.Socially, it was great to meet so many people that I've seen on forums, but never interacted with before. While the weather was damp, spirits weren't, so I think the group will meet again.
