Yesterday the National Association of Irish Photographers was launched in the Louis Fitzgearld Hotel in Dublin. Timing didn't allow me to get there for the morning launch, but I did get in and do a quick interview with John Smails, one of the organisers. John actually shot my wedding, so I've known him for a while.If you've seen my last post, this is the video I was referring to.I've asked John to explain a little about the organisation and why he thinks we need another one.
